Every Sunday, donations from the service’s collection plate for a month are split 50/50 with a non-profit Winnipeg organization. These organizations are selected by the Social Justice Team, and a representative is invited to share about their organization during one of the services for that month.

To be selected for the Share the Plate program, an organization must:

  1. Be local to Winnipeg,
  2. Be a registered non-profit,
  3. Have values congruent with our UU principles,
  4. Benefit from our relatively small financial donations,
  5. Form relationships with the congregation.
