This church has a long and strong history of social justice work, and we continue to work towards making the world a better place. We have worked towards justice system reform, climate justice, standing up for the rights of oppressed persons, we are active in the Bear Clan, we are signers of the Winnipeg Indigenous Accord, and we donate half of our offering every Sunday to a Winnipeg non-profits.

Harvest Food Bank

Offers a food bank in our sanctuary every Thursday morning to 45 families a week who have registered with Harvest Food Bank.

Friends of Refuge

Partners with community groups to sponsor prospective refugee applicants to Canada. Provides support with applications to the Canadian Government. Provides financial support to refugees when they arrive in Winnipeg and throughout their first year. Organizes volunteers for settlement activities.

Various other social justice events are held throughout the year.
