Thankful for Complex, Compassionate Communities

When the people who attend a church have conflicting fundamental beliefs, what is church for? How does belonging to a community of diversity shape us, and how do we shape the community with our presence? Can we give thanks for feeling weird and uncomfortable? Can that feeling encourage both agency and acceptance?

The Choir will sing.

Service Leader: Christina Swindells-Nader
Service Coordinator: Charlene Zelanko

Affirmation

Love Is the Spirit

Love is the spirit of this church, the quest for truth its sacrament, and service is its law.

This is our great covenant: to dwell together in peace, to seek truth in love, and to help one another to the end that all souls shall grow into harmony with life.
