William Henry Channing urged us to “await occasions, hurry never.” How often have we seen that, as the pace of life accelerates, the quality of life declines? At a time when calming zones and red-light cameras are being used to slow down traffic in many communities, perhaps we should reduce the speed limit on the highway of life!
As Reverend Stefan explains at the beginning of the sermon, he shifted from the sermon he had planned in reaction to the November 2024 American election, and discussed its moral and democratic implications.

Some in our beloved community are affected by exposure to the ingredients or chemicals in scented products. We ask that you join our efforts to accommodate their health concerns by being mindful and where possible avoiding scented products such as hair spray, perfume and deodorant when attending services.
Please keep aisles clear, particularly for people with mobility challenges and turn off electronic devices during the service. Thank you!
