On Satuday, October 21, Our church members will join No Space For Hate MB Collective in holding a counter-protest party at the Manitoba Legislative Building.
Right now, anti-trans rhetoric and policies, like preventing trans youth from living authentically in the safety of school, is a leading contributor to the high levels of suicidality among trans youth. Movements like the 1 Million March 4 Children, further stigmatize an already stigmatized group of people – leading to life-long negative impacts. This level of hatred toward a marginalized group can not be allowed to continue. Join us in standing up against hatred.
