Saturday, Oct 19: Death Over Dinner – Potluck Discussion
Death Over Dinner, a friendly gathering where community can come together over food, to discuss this important topic! Talking about death and dying may seem like one of the more challenging conversations we can have, and yet it can be one of the most liberating. Join us for a meal and interesting conversation that is lightly facilitated. Depending on the number of people attending we may consider optional table groupings for under 35 years old, over 35 years old, and any age.
An open-to-all potluck, part of the national “Swan Song” event with Community Death Care Canada.
When: Saturday October 19th 5:30pm – 9pm
Where: 603 Wellington Crescent (map and parking)
Cost: Free – Please register in advance and select which potluck food item to share
As part of an international movement, Death over Dinner is a website, book, and process of bringing people together. As quoted from their content:
“How we want to die represents the most important and costly conversation America [Canada] isn’t having.”
