DATES: Tuesday November 27th 6:30- 8:30 pm OR Thursday November 29th 1:00 to 3:00 pm
LOCATION: 603 Wellington Crescent at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Winnipeg
At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session. And the goal is helping to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives. Death Cafes are an international movement founded by Jon Underwood in 2011, based on the work of Bernard Cretan and you can learn more at deathcafe.com.
Facilitation by members from Community Deathcare Manitoba. Light refreshments will be provided.
If unable to sign up online, please call Elizabeth at 204-475-1204 and leave your name, email and home phone along with the afternoon (Thur) or evening (Tue) preference for attending.
