August 12: The Heretic’s Choice
Service Leader: the Rev. Meghann Robern
Service Coordinator: Steve Lennon
Miguel Serveto, a Spanish theologian and physician from the 16th century, lost his life due to his beliefs and how they conflicted with the dominant orthodoxy of his time, and the refusal of those in power to embrace diversity and growth of spirit. What can we learn about creating the best future for all of us in this lesson from our Unitarian history?
The Pastoral Care Team is hosting a Grief Circle on Wednesday, August 15 from 7:00-9:00 pm.
It will be a time to share, listen to ourselves and others, and to support each other in our healing journey. If you are grieving a loss of any kind, you are welcome here!
From the Minister's Study - Summer 2018
This summer, I want to use my column to speak to you about experimentation, innovation, and change.
Scary, right? ;D
Well, as many of you have heard me say over and over again, one of my roles is to help soothe anxiety, especially when it comes to change.
