Save the dates: On November 21 and 22, food, ideas, and collective imagination come together to nourish our shared vision as we discover what we can grow together.
We are hosting a satellite site of the CUC 2025 Fall Gathering, as the CUC encourages participants to be with others in person for both days whenever possible. Everyone is welcome – whether you’re a regular, a newcomer, or simply curious. Bring a dish to share, your curiosity, and an open heart.
FRIDAY NIGHT – A POTLUCK OF BELONGING, starting by 6pm
Kick off the weekend by gathering around a table in the church sanctuary. The night will include guided conversation as we enjoy food, connection, and reflection — some of the conversation starters come from the CUC but we will just be connecting in person for this evening. This shared meal sets the stage for what comes next. Remember potlucks aren’t about perfection. They are about sharing, connecting, and nourishing each other in body and in spirit.
SATURDAY – THE HARVEST OF IMAGINATION — Three sessions, the first starting at 11am in the sanctuary (bring your lunch/snacks, to supplement any leftovers from Friday)
Building on Friday’s spirit of reciprocity, we’ll continue the experience with interactive activities and shared learning, joining others across the country as we imagine what we can grow together. We’ll imagine serving the wider world in big, bold ways and explore how communities can invest in one another. The programming deepens the connections made the night before, and will enrich the portions of Sunday November 23’s national service that will be shared after our local, musical service the next morning.
