Journey to a Greener World

Service Leaders: Carolyn Garlich & Peter Miller
Service Coordinator: Steve Lennon

Oil is the wonder fuel on which our civilization has been built. Take away everything produced and transported by oil, and you would be naked, hungry and shivering in the dark. But our comfortable life has come with a terrible price. We are already seeing the effects of climate change, and unless we wean ourselves off fossil fuels, the changes will be catastrophic. The journey away from fossil fuels will be difficult. Will we plan for the journey and pack our bags with alternatives, or will we wait until it’s too late?

Carolyn and Peter explore things we, as individuals, and as a church, need to consider. Service planned by the Green Action Committee.
